Accounting Technician (I/II/III)

Full-Time

Description

Under direct or general supervision, provides support for financial and procurement functions by carrying out the procurement process for supplies, equipment, professional services, capital acquisitions and construction projects for a public agency in compliance with government procurement laws, regulations, and procedures. Performs contract administration and project management support. Performs technical accounting and financial recordkeeping work in a variety of accounting functions including accounts payable, cash management analysis and reconciliations. Performs related work as requested.

Salary Range

$66,883.57 – $104,057.55 Annually

Clerk of the Board

Full-Time

Description

Under general supervision, performs a range of specialized analytical and administrative duties to support SBCAG. Responsibilities include clerking Board/Committee meetings, preparing agendas, minutes, and legal publications, managing records and contact databases. The role also entails awareness of regulations to ensure compliance, recordkeeping, processing of legal forms, drafting press releases, public statements, social media content, and informational materials; assisting with events; and maintaining communication with government offices and stakeholders. Strong customer service skills are required to assist the public and staff while maintaining professionalism.

Salary Range

$85,616.63 – $104,067.55 Annually

Grants Analyst

Description

Under general direction, is responsible for researching, preparing and submitting grant proposals, applications and supporting documents, including written narratives, assistance in budget preparation and project planning. The Grants Analyst researches and identifies new and potential, competitive and discretionary grant funding opportunities; provides oversight of the lifecycle of grants; performs administrative tasks in support of a variety of grant processes and procedures; provides technical assistance and guidance to ensure grant management compliance with federal, state and local rules and regulations including but not limited all necessary reporting.

Salary Range

$65,252.27 – $79,314.54 Annually
