The project was completed in 2015 and widened the Highway 101 Bridge over the Santa Maria River from 4 to 6 lanes to conform to the 6-lane configuration to the south through the City of Santa Maria. The project also constructed a Class I bike and pedestrian path along the southbound lanes of Highway 101.
